About Us

Hey, I’m Matt Wilson!

I’m a nutrition enthusiast and coffee lover based in Austin, Texas. I built the Starbucks Calorie Calculator because I know firsthand how tricky it can be to track what you’re drinking — especially when every Starbucks order comes with a dozen customization options.

With a background in health science and years of tracking my own macros, I realized there was no simple, accurate way to calculate the exact calories in a customized Starbucks drink. The official Starbucks site gives you nutrition for standard recipes, but what happens when you swap to oat milk, add an extra pump of vanilla, or skip the whipped cream? That’s where this calculator comes in.

Why I Built This Tool

I started this project in late 2025 because I was frustrated with guessing how many calories were in my daily Starbucks order. I’m someone who goes to the gym 5 days a week and tracks every meal — but my Starbucks drinks were always a blind spot. I’d order a Caramel Macchiato with almond milk and sugar-free syrup and have no idea if it was 100 calories or 300.

So I did what any data-driven person would do: I pulled together all of Starbucks’ publicly available nutritional data, built a calculator that accounts for every customization, and made it free for everyone to use.

What Makes This Calculator Different

Unlike generic calorie counters, this tool is built specifically for the Starbucks menu. It covers every drink category — hot coffees, cold brews, Frappuccinos, teas, refreshers, and food items. You can customize milk type, syrup pumps, toppings, and sizes, and get real-time calorie and macro breakdowns including protein, fat, carbs, sugar, and more.

I personally update the data whenever Starbucks launches new menu items or makes changes to their recipes. Accuracy matters to me because I use this tool myself every single day.

My Mission

I believe you shouldn’t have to give up your favorite Starbucks drinks to stay healthy. Whether you’re counting calories, tracking macros for fitness, following a keto diet, or just curious about what’s in your cup — this tool is here to help you make smarter choices without sacrificing taste.

If you have questions, feedback, or suggestions for the calculator, feel free to reach out through the Contact page. I read every message and I’m always looking for ways to improve this tool for you.
